Imagine attending a Sound Bath where we pause, reflect, and connect with human nature.

Hey! That is me, Mackenzie, seen in the picture above. Sometimes accompanied by sounds of crashing waves or birds chirping through soft rainfall... those crystal Himalayan singing bowls I am playing prepare the mind + body for a dose of intense and intentional relaxation. I built my own brand to talk about safe companies for you and your children to trust. Hempy Humans LLC believes passionately that deeply rooted issues require deeply rooted solutions.
"The sound quiets the noise", shared a regular at our Tuesday Classes immediately following his third sound therapy session with me. Every class experience is different, but week-after-week, testimonies similar to this one flow in consistently.

From my own personal readings and research, most sources recommend prioritizing 10 to 15 MIN for meditation each day. Obviously this approach is listed for those said to be seeking optimal results, but let's get real for a second... that is tough for a beginner. I recommend working in a 30MIN to 1HR session, once a week as a realistic alternative to practicing daily. → Ask me about virtual 1:1 sound sessions!
If this resonates, it may not be any fault of your own.
Technology has our pace of life in fast-forward, with immediate satisfaction holding the reins between our ears. Focus, patience, and control are tested in times of stillness, silence, and rest.
The word "meditation" can carry a stigma of its own for some people. It's not unusual to picture a cross-legged, matching yoga set chanting "namaste" and "OMMMM" when immediately greeted with the word. If you are reading this, you probably have some interest in learning how calm yourself down naturally, and for years I found this stereotypical image hard to digest.
Similar to many exploring independent wellness in 2025, figuring out where to start can be difficult to digest. Social Media tells us to trust the testimonies, the science, and the results. Every company is claiming to be the best, have the best, and contain the latest technology..."first of its kind".
Before investing in the next best green powder or viral-claimed quick fix, you have to understand one thing: how to listen to your body. In my opinion, this is a dying art. I do not think I'm alone in believing the average individual is not actively practicing the art of listening to their body when ingesting and investing new supplements.
Most are simply uneducated on the ways of slowing down our body's response to stimuli. At no fault of their own! We were taught to reach for an over-the-counter solution, rather than an independent regulation technique. Here at Hempy Humans LLC, we specialize in silencing the noise, with SOUND.
One of the very first senses to develop, while in utero, is the sense of sound. While it is the first sound to develop, it is also the last of the five senses to leave at the time of passing. I always tell my clients, this is what people are referring to when they say to continue talking to your loved ones immediately following death.
Sound is an incredibly effective tool at accessing the ROOT cause of many discomforts, emotions, triggers, etc. Physical, mental, and emotional feelings of imbalance and disconnection can be recalibrated by manually pulling ourselves out of fight-or-flight. Sound from the crystal singing bowls work directly with the body's nerve centers. These nerve centers are also known as the "7 Chakras". When played intentionally, the frequencies impact your brain waves in a way that slows and relaxes the mind-body connection.
I used to think "I could never meditate." My ADHD, depression, and anxiety diagnosis, by both my doctor and my first therapist, solidified my own projetions... this form of peace just was not within reach.
It was just out of reach. I could get close to embodying that hippie-esque lifestyle; free-spirited, happy, and peacefully driven. Instead, I found frustration with my inability to focus or "shut out the noise". That is, until almost 10 years later, when I experienced crystal singing bowls for the first time.
Immediately, the static in my mind went soft...
With practice and intention, I gained control and quickly realized I was doing the thing people called "meditating"... But it felt so much more vibrant and enjoyable than what I was expecting.

Our nerves are constantly communicating extremely complex connections at remarkable rates. Every second, the body uses the spine as a highway of communication to every piece and part of the body's operating system. Believe it or not, everyone enters a meditative state just before falling asleep each night. Our bodies heal the best during our resting state. This is why sleep is such a crucial piece to the aging, wellness, and self-care puzzle many men and women are navigating today.
When we consciously activate this meditative "healing" state, we can begin to train our body to experience peace at the ROOT. Sound healing is similar to building a muscle in the sense that it takes practice. We are divinely designed as
Our bodies were designed to heal themselves. Our body wants to heal itself. Many tools on the market are designed to work for a while, but the truth is... Tolerance can be built towards anything! If we do not know how to listen to our body at the source, how will we be able to determine what is an improvement from an illusion?
✷ Undeniable improvements happen when you make time.
✷ Undeniable improvements happen with consistency.
✷ Undeniable improvements happen where you place intention.
To who has made it this far...
When was the last time you were still, in silence, without interruption?
(driving in the car without music and checking your phone in silence does not count)
When I ask this, most people cannot provide a specific time or place.
Thus proving my point altogether... the average American is stuck in a state of fight-or-flight. Whether it is related to a high-stress level job, or a more molecular form of fight-or-flight (aka: chronic inflammation) Healing Sound Frequencies are sure to activate the opposite of your body's "survival mode", the powerful Parasympathetic Nervous System. Have you heard of it?
